I was finishing up another album for a friend and can’t wait for her to see it. After finishing that, I went and reviewed the stats for my 2008 scrapbooking ticker and was shocked. I have completed 171 layouts, 12 altered items, and over 100 cards this year alone. That is crazy!!! Now, some of it has been DT work and some has been sold to others, but still… that’s a lot of paper.

…when I upload my newest layouts into the design team gallery on May 1st. I’ve had such a busy week and it began last Thursday afternoon. I spent most of the 24th running around central Kentucky acting as a chauffer. Then the long weekend LPS crop began. We had so much fun and I think I got about 20 layouts finished. Actually I think we did more driving and shopping than anything else. Anyway, it was a blast and I enjoyed meeting everyone.

I was in a scrappy mood today and got 5 layouts finished. I loved this shot of Gabriella and wanted to share it. It’s the first page in her newest album that I’m making. I used some Bazzill cardstock and a Hambly transparency. The flowers are Prima and for the life of me, I can’t remember the brand of letters I used. I thought it turned out pretty good for a “quickie layout”.

Check out the Making Memories for You gallery and message board to see the new Design Team creations. It’s been an exciting month with challenges, games, and lots of fun. Just today, I posted my first challenge layout as a member of my first Design Team. I was so excited and everyone seems to like what I created. Over the next week, I am going to prep some stuff for our on-line crop for National Scrapbooking Day. All that and a weekend crop to get ready for too. It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks around here.
